National programs

A 1–2 day skills-based program with didactic and hands-on training that may include live case observation. Attendees have the opportunity to spend the day with experienced faculty learning the therapy, applying this education and discussing the featured Boston Scientific device.

Preceptor Center of Education (COE)

A program designed to enhance a physician’s ability to perform specified procedures led by expert physician faculty. Through live case observations and discussions at an established COE, this program addresses the different techniques and approaches for optimal patient outcomes while utilizing the featured Boston Scientific device(s). May be offered in person or virtually.

Proctor programs

A one-day peer-to-peer case observation in the trainee’s OR intended to enhance clinical comfort and confidence in device utilization, understanding, and decision making related to the safe and effective use of featured Boston Scientific device(s) and to support patient needs. The program provides real time open discussions throughout the procedure(s) while the learner operates.

Advanced Practice Provider program

A 1.5-day peer-to-peer program designed for Advanced Practice Providers, led by expert Physician Assistant faculty, who have experience interacting with prosthetic urology patients. The program provides didactic training and discussions as well as live clinic observation during patient counseling sessions.

Lecture

Expert physician or HCP led educational event on urology related topics showcasing disease state management and technologies.

Continuing nursing education (CNE)

A one-hour CNE activity, where a Boston Scientific speaker discusses specific disease and diagnostic processes, as well as treatment options in order to enhance patient care and teaching. It is expected that participants will apply the knowledge in their own practice area. Nurse participants who complete the course can earn CNE credit.
