Tissue-selective ablation.
Unlike thermal energy applications, the FARAPULSE Pulsed Field Ablation System uses a proprietary waveform to ablate cardiomyocytes which have a higher susceptibility to electric field exposure than surrounding tissues — despite exposure to the field.²

Proven procedural prescription for successful PVI.
Pulsed field ablation is highly parameter-dependent, and slight variations in polarity, waveform, catheter electrodes, pulse characteristics, or applications can be the difference between acute or chronic success.3 The FARAPULSE Pulsed Field Ablation System was optimised through years of iterations to define and validate the dose with catheter, waveform, and application sequence.
Pulmonary Vein Durability on Remapping¹
Prospective Remaps at 93 ± 30 days
All three cohorts showed 100% acute PVs isolated, though lesion durability varied significantly at remap (~3 months). Acute isolation alone is not enough to assure durable lesions — remapping data validates the FARAPULSE Pulsed Field Ablation System’s optimal dosing and applications for long-term success.¹
"Pulsed field ablation offers [an] effective method for atrial fibrillation ablation, with a reduced risk of collateral damage...
I would strongly recommend having PFA in the EP toolbox."
