How it works

The SAFARI2 TAVR guidewire features a double curve architecture that absorbs contractions of the left ventricle and facilitates stable, atraumatic placement of new valves. Available in three curve sizes, the SAFARI2 provides flexibility with options, enabling physicians to choose a size that fits their patients' specific needs and conditions. And with optimized rail support, it has superior shape retention that delivers consistent wire predictability.

Why choose SAFARI² TAVR Guidewire

Superior shape retention and size options provide wire predictability and safety for TAVR procedures

Enhanced wire predictability

The SAFARI2 Pre-shaped wire provides guide wire predictability and superior shape retention.*,†

Largest choice of guidewire sizes

A wide selection of guidewire options with three curve sizes to choose from gives physicians flexibility to fit the patients' needs and conditions.

Streamlined device delivery

Optimized rail support provides streamlined and accurate device delivery for TAVI and TAVR procedures.‡,§,**

SAFARI2 compression testing

SAFARI2 keeps a stable position and curve when subjected to a 30% compression load simulating the compression in the left ventricle.

Three sizes for customized selection

  • Pre-shaped design for predictable, reliable performance across a broad spectrum of transcatheter devices*,†, ‡,§,**
  • Widest guidewire choice with three curve sizes, enabling customized selection based on physician preference
  • Extra small curve designed for small and/or hypertrophic ventricles
