On August 2, 2019, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released FY 2020 Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) final rates and policies that apply to approximately 3,330 acute care hospitals. These final rates will go into effect on October 1, 2019.
