Novel streamlined technique for left atrial appendage closure using a radiofrequency wire-based large access system

Use of the VersaCross Large Access Solution allowed de novo dilation of septum for smoother delivery of the WATCHMAN™ FXD Access Sheath into the LA, leading to an overall more streamlined left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) procedure with fewer device exchanges than the use of the NRG™ RF needle for transseptal puncture.
