Global PRIDE Leadership Summit
PRIDE held their first annual Global Summit in 2018. The event provided an opportunity for PRIDE leaders and members to reinforce their commitment to accepting and celebrating equality. The summit focused on career development, culture setting and strategic planning with key messages from senior leadership.
PRIDE Coyol: Standing Against Discrimination
The Coyol, Costa Rica, PRIDE chapter took a stand against discrimination by participating in the International Day Against Homophobia, Trans-phobia and Bi-phobia with the intent to promote understanding and respect through education of their 500 employees. To solidify this message, Coyol site leaders signed the San Jose Declaration of Commitment to stand against hate.
PRIDE Arden Hills: Twin Cities PRIDE
Each year June is recognized as LGBTQ Pride Month in the U.S. The Arden Hills, MN, chapter of PRIDE coordinated participation at the Twin Cities Pride Festival with more than 400,000 attendees. PRIDE combined efforts with BSC's internal health equity initiative, Close the Gap, to offer educational health resources and free blood pressure screenings for everyone who visited the booth.
