PEARL Lunar New Year
Each year, PEARL plans Lunar New Year events across sites to support cultural awareness. For example, the Bay Area, California, chapter hosted energetic and colorful lion dances throughout the campus to educate employees on the broader meaning of the celebration. The lion dance is a traditional part of Chinese and other Asian cultures and is believed to bring good luck and fortune.
PEARL Valencia: Dragon Boat Races
In Valencia, California, PEARL participated in the Los Angeles Dragon Boat Festival as theRace Against Pain Dragon Boat Teamconnecting the effort with the Neuromodulation division's values.The race is a culmination of a variety of skills including timely execution, traditional techniques and most of all teamwork and collaboration.
