The Heredia, Costa Rica, chapter of LEAD initiated a wear blue event to support Autism awareness among Heredia employees. Leading up to the event, the team illustrated barriers to a disability inclusive culture as well as provided education on early detection in children and how it can make a difference in their lives.
LEAD Marlborough: Disability Awareness Book Signing
The Marlborough, MA, LEAD chapter hosted Jessica Kensky and her service dog Rescue; who are the subject of their own book based on her experience as a survivor of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.
