Program overview
Hot AXIOSTM Learning Path is aimed at physicians and consists of 3 different courses supported with the digital and remote learning opportunities. The main objective of the courses is to equip physicians with the necessary knowledge and skills to proficiently perform EUS-guided drainage procedures using Hot AXIOS. Please be aware that enrollment to each course depends on the level of experience of the candidates.
Hot AXIOSTM Training
The training is necessary to obtain the Hot AXIOSTM certificate. It involves an e-Learning and a face-to-face training with a lecture and a hands-on session. Training goes throughout all Hot AXIOS indications, although it´s focused on the EUS-guided drainage pseudocyst drainage indication.
You will get an e-mail invitation to join EDUCARE, our online educational platfrom. After registering to the platform you will be assigned the e-Learning module followed by knowledge assessment. This is mandatory step that ensures preparation to the practical training. It should take no more than 40 minutes to complete the module.
This part of the training includes lecture and hands-on practice. During the hands-on session, you will have the chance to learn how Hot AXIOS works in practice, deploy at least 5 Hot AXIOS within an ex-vivo model and ask questions. The training session requires full day attendence and it lasts 6 hours.

Hot AXIOS™ Refresher
The training is a field-led educational experience for physicians who have completed the Hot AXIOS training and want to increase their confidence. This training will be organized in your hospital with a review of Hot AXIOS indications and a practical hands-on session.
Ask your sales representative about the opportunity to organize training session in your facility.
The training session inlcudes lecture and hands-on where you deploy at least 5 Hot AXIOS within a synthetic model.
Deep dive into EDUCARE recommended resources and take advantage of e-proctorship through the ExpertLink remote connectivity solution.
Advanced Hot AXIOS™
This training is dedicated to experienced Hot AXIOS users. Enhance your expertise with this blended learning program which continues the learning journey by focusing more on gallbladder and bile duct drainage.
The training is intended for physicians who have completed Hot AXIOS training and performed at least 5 procedures with Hot AXIOS in the last 12 months, and that have institutional MDT support. If you meet the criteria contact your sales representative to get enrolled.
You will be enrolled to the 2 e-Learning modules: one focused on gallbladder, the second on bile duct drainage. It should take no more than 60 minutes to complete the modules.
This part of the training includes lecture and hand-on practice. During this session, you will expand your knowledge, gain useful tips and tricks and have the ability to ask our faculty questions.
