Across our operations and supply chain, we analyze strategic, operational, financial, legal and compliance risks so we can safely adapt to challenges, minimize threat exposure and pursue opportunities. We use a combination of technology, protocols and third-party security partnerships to protect our people, operations and assets globally.

The approach we take with digital security makes product security and patient information safety top priorities, and we have protocols that anticipate and address possible threats. Our Global Cybersecurity team takes a centralized data security approach to protecting all systems, notification applications, connected medical devices and clinician interfaces. Protecting our digital infrastructure and all personal data is essential to our mission and for building trust inside and outside the company.

Our focus on quality extends across our global value chain. We hold our direct and indirect supply chain partners accountable for taking the highest degree of care and use a risk-based approach to assess and verify our suppliers’ compliance and operations. And we prioritize working with certified companies that share our commitment to customer and patient care, including businesses that are minority-owned, women-owned, small or disadvantaged, service-disabled, veteran-owned, LGBTQ+-owned and disability-owned.¹
