Innova, an innovative bare metal stent for the Superficial Femoral Artery (SFA)

Innova™ Stent Delivery System

Innova Self-Expanding Stent for the SFA has two different modes of deployment (the thumbwheel and the pull back grip)
Innova™ is a Self-Expanding Nitinol stent with a peripheral vasculature indication and is designed specifically for Superficial Femoral Artery (SFA) and Proximal Popliteal Artery (PPA) stenting.
Radial strength and flexibility
InnovaTM is designed to combine an excellent flexibility and a high radial strength to optimize the results with tight and calcified lesions and to help supporting the mechanical stress of the SFA and PPA (Proximal Popliteal Arteries).
Deliverability system
InnovaTM has one delivery system with dual deployment options : one by rolling the thumbwheel and the other one by grasping the manual pull grip. The stent placement and visibility are facilitated by tantalum markers on the stent and a radiopaque tip.
SuperNOVA trial
Boston Scientific Corporation has completed enrollment in the SuperNOVA trial, a global, single arm, prospective, multicenter trial evaluating the long-term (12 month) safety and effectiveness of the Innova™ Self-Expanding Stent System.
